Yesterday we said goodbye to Alexander Engeli. Only 29 years old and after 24 results, 2 trophies and many top 9 places, he left the team for 750k to join Fighting. We wish him and his new team the best. Does this mean we are going to race against Alexander? Not really, because big changes are coming up!
With his sale, the end of the hill era has started. For many seasons, the team had great hillers that achieved to win a lot op the top division hill races. It is time for something new. The hill team will stay intact for a final attempt in Essex and will be sold after that. The focus will be completely on flat races. Next to the sprinting team and the relatively new time trailers, the CB era is kicking off.
Kelvin Wood joins the team to improve the sprinting squad but also as a valuable LO in the CB races. Next to this, we start two new training projects. Ferdinand Stan and Stepan Chaly are CB'ers to start this discipline with. What next? Probably a lot of scouting, training in all three disciplines and big investments in a CB captain or improvements in the equipment. Exciting!

I hope so Mal. He is still in training and hopefully becomes great for me and the NT!
Chaly is coming along really nice, he might make Uzbekistan competitive in the CB races for the first time ever in the World Tour.
Thanks myman!
Good luck with your CB team!!
